About Me

Death is one of the most natural things in our lives. The first significant death I experienced was that of my grandfather's. We were very close and until then I never acknowledged how death encompasses us. Everyone has witnessed it and everyone dies. And yet I've found it is a topic that many are afraid to approach. It isn't wrong to be afraid of it but it is important to help my clients come to terms and find peace with it. I want to be a source of comfort and strength for those taking their steps towards the end of their life and even for those who just want to be prepared for it in the future.

I am a non-denominational doula meaning I do not follow any religious structure to my practice but that doesn't mean I am opposed to it. I'm welcome to all beliefs and willing to incorporate anything that my clients desire.

Like many doulas, I am not a licensed medical professional. Therefore if medications are needed I ask that you have someone certified or permitted to be administering drugs present when needed.
